Colors get mixed, folders in both registry and files and folders in explorer show up red or green

Somehow sometimes (i know no exact method to reproduce, but it happens so often,
that i can't imagine one can't reproduce) the colors in regedit and in explorer
get fucked up, and folders get red in regedit, green in explorer, fileicons get
green in explorer, the + left of the folder disappears (though one can still
collapse the folder by clicking on the place where it should be).
