NTOS: incorrect amount of RAM reported

Where's my last few MBs?

VMware Workstation guest:

• Computer reports 512MB of RAM
• Uniprocessor HAL reports 511MB of RAM (1MB conventional memory ignored?)
• ACPI uniprocessor HAl reports 510MB of RAM.

For reference, Windows 7 reports total amount of memory [4,00 GB], not total amount of extended memory like an XMS-driver would.
