Startup Splash Logo Glitch

Lately, whenever the OS boots up, it creates a secondary image in the wrong area. The boot up process works just fine, but it's obvious enough to require fixing.

I'm looking in the "ntoskrnl\inbv\logo\" folder and am seeing the main graphic image (1.bmp) that is used for the background. But then I notice that the overlapped image may be (not sure at the moment, and please let me know if I'm wrong) in fact from the file "5.bmp". So unless there is a bug workaround involved or something like that, why is there two images that essentially is doing the same job (in this case, it's showing the OS logo)? Doesn't that take take up more system resources to render it?
