Deadlock when trying to play audio from OpenMPT in VMware using VMaudio driver

    • VMware 9.0.2, VMaudio driver extracted from an installation of the corresponding VMware tools in Windows XP SP3.

    Description

      After installing OpenMPT, I loaded one of the example songs, and tried to play it. ReactOS froze to death. I did a Tab+B to cause a bugcheck. The backtrace points at what is probably a call to EnterCriticalSection as the issue.
