Hack to allow the VMaudio driver to load

    • VMware 9.0.2, VMaudio driver extracted from an installation of the corresponding VMware tools in Windows XP SP3.

    Description

      I had to hack around an ASSERT that would prevent the VMaudio driver from being installed.
      I provided a patch for that hack, as well as a zip with the driver.

      With the hack applied, VMaudio loads, and audio playback works at logon, and using the sounrd recorder tool.
