Regression installing .Net Framework 1.1 redistributable

    Description

      Seems like we have a regression with the .Net 1.1 redistributable installer, at least on Rel 0.3.14 the installer cannot finish successfully.

      However I found an ancient revision (46779) on my disk, and when I tried install the .Net 1.1, the behavior is very different, in fact the installation finish by itself without any important notice at the debug log.

      I think that this regression is important because is blocking on some way a very useful utility as the .Net framework.
