r63682 on real hardware, HP Pavilion 7965 Desktop PC with an Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection network adapter on the PC's ASUS P4B-LA (Amazon) motherboard. ASUS/AMI bios. Pentium 4 processor, 1.7 GHz. 1.25 GB RAM.
Description
Intel PRO/100 and Intel PRO/100 VE network adapters reportedly worked on r41134 and r42095 respectively with drivers for Windows 2000 according to https://www.reactos.org/wiki/Supported_Hardware/Network_cards. However, on r63181, r63269, r63534, and r63682, the Windows 2000 drivers do not work with the Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection network adapter. There may be a regression.
Slipstreaming the Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection drivers recommended for Windows XP gets the driver files loaded but Device Manager reports "This device is not working properly because FIXME is not working properly (Code 31)", "Device usage: Do not use this device (disabled)". They also cause the PC to be unresponsive during shut down (Turn Off...). Slipstreaming Windows 2000 drivers using the method described in CORE-3452 prevents the hang during shut down but the Code 31 problem remains.
