Cannot show LAN connection status from the network connections folder

When trying to show the status dialog for a lan connection from within the network connections folder,
the dialog isn't shown. Additionally, after trying to invoke either Status or Repair, the right-click menus
from the lan connection and the folder aren't shown anymore until leaving and reentering the folder.
