    Description

Whenever I install ReactOS I am shown a screen saying that VMware has been detected and offering to install the VMware SVGA driver. If I click on "Next>" and select to "Install VMware Tools.." as instructed, the driver fails to install with a message "..setup couldn't find the required files". This has been the case for several months now. Even without this driver I have the options for lots of screen resolutions as shown on the attached screen. The Device Manager for the Display Adapter shows "VGA-compatible graphics card". I have had no problems with these. It may be that the option to install the VMware SVGA is no longer needed and can be removed. I searched on JIRA and the closest reference I found was CORE-6323, so I do not think that this has been previously reported.
