Double folders appears with NTFS formatted drive

I booted my laptop from a LiveCD (revision 66078), and when I open up the C drive, I sometimes see two folders in the same name and the exact same contents. When I right click and select properties, both folders are the exact same size. I don't know if one is just a ghost and the contents won't open or if they both would open (both copies of the files won't open)
