Keyboard selection in listviews does not behave appropriately

    Description

      The attached patch improves keyboard selection for listviews, specially for vertically-oriented listviews such as the Desktop folder. The patch is old and could be bitrotten, but I can't maintain it currently. It was never sent upstream due to being unable to fix all failed tests (I couldn't figure out what was wrong).
