Task manager shows incorrect amount of available RAM

I've created a VM with just 2GB of RAM in VirtualBox.
My computer (RMB) > Properties shows 2GB of RAM available.
But Task Manager 3.99GB as max amount of available memory, which is nearly twice more, than the VM actually has.
It also calculates the percent of used memory based on that incorrect value.
