    Description

Currently by its design, RosDDT only returns a list of PCI hardware ID`s, gathered after system boots up. It is not enough to determine if said hardware is working with ROS. For example, one of my RAID controllers is not supported by UNIATA. It triggers Device wizard as well, but as it doesnt accept the XP driver (why, i dunno, due to lack of any newdev debug output) i cannot determine if its working or not. Such PCI card would be submitted as "compatible".

If we can accept real basic compatibility, RosDDT should not only report PCI hardware ID (Vendor/Device/Subsystem, Rev if applicable) but also the installed driver. If ReactOS boots up with said device AND its driver loaded, we can assume basic compatibility for the device, and as such, it could be safely reported.

For some future reference, a whole gui application should be made, with appropriate forms to be filled in by reporter, such info would contain more details, as if the device is doing its job, how stable it is, etc. It would be a much more convenient version of hardware compdb.
