Trunk build with RosBE 2.1 RC failed to boot after install on VMWare Player 5

When using the ninja option in 2.1 RC1, with cdrom_new and framebuf_new disabled, the resulting ISO succeeds in installing but first boot after install hangs while loading vbe.sys. We need to confirm whether this also happens with builds from the current BE and if not what is the cause.
