HexEdit 1.2.1 from rapps does not redraw its main view

      ros 0.4.2RC1:

      Reproduction steps

      • run HexEdit from rapps
      • Open a file, e.g. HexExt.dll from the file open menu

      You'll see that almost nothing gets drawn then within its main view.

      this seems broken since day 1 CORE-11787-HexEdit-RegressionTest.txt
