      opening the following sample ppt file
      https://acdbio.com/sites/default/files/sample.ppt
      in MS PPV 2010 (ros german) will lead to unhandled exception
      r73036-ppExceptionCrash.log

      We should double-check whether we can hide with reverting r72495, but should still search for the origin of the exception.
