Smart Defrag 3.3.0.368-7216 setup crashes with a delphi exception at the end (main app can still be used afterwards)

When trying to install SmartDefrag 3.3.0

I get a delphi exception combined with process crash at the end of the setup process.

The main app can still be used afterwards.

The setup crash is known to happen down to at least r65276.
