BSOD VBoxDisp.dll with 256 MB VRAM and VBox Guest Additions installed

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

At first, set amount of video memory for VM with ReactOS installed by following command executed from your host OS:

      VBoxManage modifyvm "ROS_VM_name" --vram 256

After this command, if GA are not installed, ROS initializates display correctly. If they are installed (if you setted 256 MB after installation GA or installed it after setting this VRAM amount, no difference), when OS tries to initializate display, appears a BSOD 0x1e caused by VBoxDisp.dll.
