LibreOffice Writer does not add file extension on file save

    • Test setup: VBox 5.1.34 on Win10 configured according to this page.

    Description

      Under Windows LibreOffice automatically adds the selected file extensions to a saved file if the corrsponding checkbox is enabled. Under ROS it doesn't add the file extension although the file is saved fine. This is 100% reproducible for me.

      Checked with ROS 0.4.10RC22 although this behaviour was observed in previous ROS releases already (no recent regression).

      I did not check LO Calc and other applications.

      CORE-9864 mentions this issue as a side note in a comment by "Start".
