HxD 2.2.0.0 menubar drop-down-menu abnormally prefers to expand to the left, while it properly expands to the right in XPSP3

HxD 2.2.0.0 (which is at the time of writing the current rapps version)

The menubars in applications usually open to the right, compared to the selected menu-item.

Observed result
It felt wrong, when HxD2.2.0.0 opened it to the left

And indeed XPSP3 opens it to the right.
