Irfanview 4.51 about dlg 'Jajce (Bosnia)' vertical placement

A trivial follow-up-task of CORE-16200, not urgent, just created a ticket to keep track of it.

Expected result
The text "Jajce (Bosnia)" should be placed below the picture

Observed result
The text "Jajce (Bosnia)" is erroneously displayed within the picture
0.4.13-dev-651-g5dbc677 is affected and
0.4.12-RC-44-gca0e00e is affected.
Both look like
0.4.12-RC-44-gca0e00e.png

This most likely is caused by invalid font metrics, but this issue is happening for us since a very long time already. We think that the app requests the font "Microsoft Sans Serif" and we should double-check either the vertical metric of that font or how freetype generates/modifies it.
