Running Directory Opus after restarting results in it using near 100% of the CPU and never fully loading

I downloaded, installed and had the installer run it. After doing that, I restarted and tried to run it via the desktop shortcut that the installer created. It ends up launching dopus.exe and eventlog.exe Eventlog.exe uses near 100% of the CPU and then drops to a normal range with dopus.exe continuously using 90%+ CPU. The debug log is attached.
