Description
Step by step normal:
- Press start menu
- Press Shutdown
- Select Shutdown in dropdown
- Press Ok
In the log, you will see that ReactOS tried to shutdown all programs.
Now, step by step for not normal way:
- In VirtualBox, go to machine menu
- Select ACPI Shutdown (or on real hardware, press the power button)
You will see that ReactOS didn't tried to stop programs.
ReactOS Version: Build 20200323-0.4.14-dev-1220-g38788a2.GNU_4.7.2
Still actual in 0.4.15-dev-5297-gb1854d7.
- The logNormal.txt file is the log when we shutdown correctly ReactOS
- The logNotNormal.txt file is the log when we shutdown ReactOS with Power Button
It seems that the power shutdown is not handled the same way as explorer do when shutting down.
