Miranda IM, uninstalling the app does succeed, but we need to press F5 to make its desktop icon disappear

    Description

      I do expect this to affect many apps, Miranda IM is just an example, where I tested it explicitly and cross-checked 2k3sp2.

      Reproduction steps

      • install Miranda IM 0.10.21 from rapps
      • during setup make sure to not unselect, that it places its icon on desktop. It will place its icon for "All users"
      • now uninstall the app

      Observed result
      The app does uninstall fine, and properly deletes all its stuff, but to make the desktop icon disappear we need to press F5

      Expected result
      2k3sp2_ok.webm manages to make the icon disappear without explicit F5-pressing
