      A regression,

      Expected result
      0.4.15-dev-3147-g3bf7e3a could still start up the app and it showed its GUI
      0.4.15-dev-5000-g6b70fff_wasStillOk.webm

      Observed result
      contrary to that 0.4.15-dev-5581-g84e32e4 GCC8.4.0 RosBEWin2.2.2 does simply fail with a msgbox "Failed to create empty document."

      A bisect is needed. The issue is 100% reproducible for me.
