livecd reverts to vga with recent builds

I'm testing a livecd 32bit build from the following commit:

https://git.reactos.org/?p=reactos.git;a=commit;h=08a68340750adffc7912e06fc761d762a8a9c22e

It currently reverts to vga as of this commit.

This can be reproduced with vmware or real hardware and maybe other VM's.

I have a screen shot and debug log of the problem:
