I have just installed VirtualBox 3.1.0 (yes it is old now, but I have got it on a cd) and it is usable up to this screen. I can go no further because I cannot get a typing cursor in the first box, and the next 2 boxes (drop boxes) have nothing in them.
So what can I do to help you (if anything)? other than get a debug log, which may not show anything!
