Registry Editor: Mnemonics of menus in the menubar don't work

The registry editor has Mmemonics for all menus in the menubar. The mnemonics
are shonw by the underscored character. But non of them works. Usually pressing
the Alt key plus the mnemonic character opens the respective menu. So pressing
Alt-e should open the Edit menu and pressing Alt-v should open the View menu.
But this is not the case.
Preferably in addition to the Alt key the Alt-Gr key should also work.
The same is true for the Explorer and Notpad and probably other applications.
