Tested with bootcd-0.4.15-amd64-dev-4423-g291a94c.MSVC_19.24.28314.0
When ReactOS x64 wanted to change the resolution, the screen showed vertical strips with some colors. The system continues working, that allows you to move the mouse and type in the keyboard (for example, to do a reboot). You can see in the video that I pressed the button of shutdown, and the window goes "grey".
