    • Make Windows 2k3 core and shell DLLs working on ROS and vice-versa

    Description

      • Alex Ionescu tried one month ago to run Windows' csrss.exe / csrsrv.dll / ntdll.dll and kernel32.dll on Windows. Some work is still needed, in particular for kernel32.dll, since it requires having adequate console server communication structures to be able to talk with the CONSRV module of winsrv.dll.
      • In revisions 60286, 60287 and 60292, I stubbed some APIs needed for Windows' winsrv.dll and win32k.sys to work, but not all.

      This report is intended to gather all the work (needed to be) done on this subject.

      Concerning shell dlls, currently only Win2k3 comctl32.dll was tested successfully on ReactOS.
