[PNP/Audio] ros takes eternity to boot after first successful boot, no sound then

      bootup gives

      (../../base/services/umpnpmgr/umpnpmgr.c:3559) Surprise removal: SW\{cd171de3-69e5-11d2-b56d-0000f8754380}\{9b365890-165f-11d0-a195-0020afd156e4}

      bootup stuck while already seeing blue desktop background
      happens sporadically

      After about 20seconds stuck, it finally shows desktop - sound does not work then until next reboot

      This happens only after installing AC97 sound drivers.

      Definition of done for this ticket is: the mixer has to always open up after just a single reboot.
